El Programa de Ansiedad de Mental health Interventions and Technology (MINT) es un programa interdisciplinario de investigación clínica dedicado a expandir la calidad, el alcance y el acceso al cuidado de la salud mental para niños a través de: (a) mejorar la comprensión del campo de la salud mental que afectan a los niños, y (b) desarrollar y probar métodos innovadores para reducir las barreras sistemáticas a la atención y en general ofrecer tratamientos efectivos. Mental health Interventions and Novel Therapeutics (MINT) Anxiety Program is an interdisciplinary clinical research program devoted to expanding the quality, scope, and accessibility of mental health care for kids by: (a) improving the field’s understanding of mental health problems affecting children, and (b) developing and testing innovative methods to reduce systematic barriers to care and broadly deliver effective treatments. This research lab is part of the Center for Children and Families (CCF), a Preeminent Program at FIU.

Our clinical programs use state-of-the science techniques, and often apply innovative technologies, to deliver research-supported mental health treatments to children and families. We offer specialty programs for children as young as 3 years old up to late adolescence. Some of our clinical programs are supported by federal agencies or foundation grants.
