Natalie Javadi, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral fellow at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CUCARD) and the ABC (Anxiety and Behavioral Challenges) Early Childhood Program. She received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Psychology from New York University and her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Psychology from the Clinical Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology program at Florida International University.

Natalie’s program of research focuses on optimizing youth mental health care through innovative treatment redesign. She is particularly interested in developing an evidence-base for informed clinical decision-making for individuals who exhibit slower or fewer improvements throughout the course of treatment. In her work, she is excited by opportunities to examine the utility of delivering care in naturalistic settings, in intensive doses, and/or with the support of technology. Her dissertation research was funded by a National Research Service Award from the National Institute of Mental Health and she played instrumental roles in several clinical trials evaluating novel treatment formats and treatment sequences aiming to improve the reach and scope of mental health care for children and families while she was a graduate student within the MINT Lab.
