Dalia Arias

Dalia is an undergraduate student at Florida International University majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience and Applied Sciences. After graduating, she plans to attend medical school and become a Psychiatrist. Dalia is interested in clinical, developmental, and neuropsychology, with a focus on the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
 


Natalie Campos

Natalie Campos is currently a junior at Florida International University, working towards obtaining a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology. She is constantly searching for opportunities to help out in the community and contribute to positive transformation while learning more about the brain, how it works, and how she can apply her knowledge to help others. She believes “knowledge is power, and with it, we can accomplish anything and everything!”
 


Daniella Arjona

Daniella Arjona is currently in her senior year at Florida International University on a PreMed track. She plans on furthering her career by attending medical school and becoming a Psychiatrist.
 


Melanie Mesa

Melanie Mesa is a recent graduate from the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program here at Florida International University. She is interested in a clinical doctorate degree and a specialization in children and adolescents. Her research interests involve childhood anxiety in the children of immigrant individuals, especially those of Hispanic descent. 
 


Florentina Montoya

Florentina Montoya is an undergraduate student studying Psychology at Florida International University (FIU). She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and developed a passion for psychology and the different aspects of human behavior throughout high school. Currently, she is very invested in expanding her knowledge of different psychology fields and further understanding how to help others through research, investigation, and analysis. In the future, she plan on advancing a career in clinical psychology and obtaining a PhD.
 


Doris Cabo

Doris Cabo is a recent graduate of Florida International University with a passion for Psychology. As she aspires to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, her interests lie in the power of early intervention and creating safe spaces. She emphasizes that psychological well-being is important for overall health and believes that understanding and nurturing one’s mental health can lead to a better future. 
 


Sami Shah

Sami Shah is an incoming sophomore at Florida International University pursuing a Bachelors in Biological Sciences. He plans on attending medical school and becoming a physician. He hopes to serve his local community to assist those in need 
 


Sebastián Betancourt

Sebastián Betancourt is a senior majoring in Psychology at Florida International University. Throughout his college career, He has grown a passion for working with vulnerable populations, specifically helping those recovering from substance use. His goal is to become a clinical psychologist, where he can make a difference in his community  
 


Andrea López Del Rincón 

Andrea López Del Rincón is a recent graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has always had a passion for understanding the human mind and is currently applying to graduate schools. Andrea is interested in Clinical Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in LGBTQ+ counseling. 
 


María Lorenzo Rodríguez

Maria Lorenzo Rodríguez is an undergraduate at Florida International University majoring in Biological Sciences. She loves working with kids and after she graduates, she hopes to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. Some of her current hobbies include journaling, going on walks, and discovering new music. She is highly interested in the psychology field because psychology helps her better understand how to communicate with others and understand how others think, feel, etc. She is very excited to gain a lot of knowledge in the MINT Lab.
